We'll meet at the appointed time in front of the iconic Clock Tower in Market Square Park, an ideal place to begin our tour. Did you know that this site was the former Houston City Hall?
During the walking tour, we'll take a pleasant stroll through downtown Houston to discover why it is the heart of the city. We'll see the tallest buildings in Texas, admire the vibrant graffiti murals that adorn the walls, and uncover the secrets hidden in its streets. And, of course, we'll indulge in the flavors.
Throughout the tour, we'll stop at various places to sample the local cuisine and enjoy a delicious taste of the city's culinary diversity. Have you heard of Tex-Mex cuisine? You'll get to try it right away! You'll have a quesabirría taco, a typical Mexican dish with meat and cheese served with a dipping sauce. We'll also enjoy a secret dish, egg rolls with beef brisket, and chicken with Vietnamese rice.
To finish on a sweet note, we'll enjoy freshly baked cookies and artisan ice cream—the perfect end to this tour! After a journey that has awakened all your senses, the tour will conclude back at the Clock Tower, 3.5 hours later.
